Puyallup ( pew-AL-əp or pew-AWL-əp) is a city in Pierce County, Washington, United States, located just about 10 miles (16 km) southeast of Tacoma and 35 miles (56 km) south of Seattle. It had a population of 37,022 at the 2010 Census, with the Washington State Office of Financial Management estimating an lump to 42,361 as of 2019.
