Lind () is a town in Adams County, Washington, United States. The population was 564 at the 2010 census, a 3.1% decrease more than the preceding census.

Lind was first arranged in 1888 upon a relatively barren Place along the Northern Pacific Railway’s main extraction by the Neilson Brothers, James and Dugal. The site had in the past been fixed in 1881 for a station (an outdated boxcar) and section home and was named Lind by the railroad although the precise origin of that declare has been lost. In the autumn of 1888 the Neilson Brothers built the first Lind house and two years difficult they built and stocked a buildup and resumed postal utility which until subsequently had been processed in Ritzville and tossed off in town by passing trains. When the Neilson brothers platted the town site of Lind, they named everything of the north to south streets to eventually spell out their surname. The town by yourself grew large ample to spell “Neilso”.
