Broadform Quote Frequently Asked Questions

What is a broadform insurance policy?

Broadform insurance includes liability coverage but can also include uninsured motorist, and personal injury protection (PIP). It only covers an accident when you are driving the car. Comprehensive and collision coverages (aka Full Coverage) are not avalable to protect the vehicle you are driving.

What states allow broadform auto insurance?

Washington state is one of the few of states that allows broadform insurance. When you travel in any other state, whether they allow broad form or not, your insurance is perfectly valid.

What’s the difference between non-owner and broad form insurance?

Both insurance policies are Named Operator polices, meaning the policy only has to pay if the person named on the policy was driving. A Non-Owner policy, as the name implies, only is in force when non-owned autos are being driven. Also, if you are driving a auto that you have regular access to, then coverage is excluded. A BroadForm policy is “broad” because it covers owned & non-owned vehicles without the restrictions.

Can I get an insurance policy that covers meto drive any auto?

Yes! A Broad Form policy covers you while driving any auto or pickup while being used for personal and not business use. It is ideal for the person who owns multiple autos and never lend them out or who owns no vehicles and wants to make sure they are covered while driving borrowed autos.

Do I need to get insurance before buying a car?

You are required by the state to have liability insurance before you take the car on the road. Nothing worse than getting pulled over for no insurance. And, if the car is financed, the dealership will require you have “full coverage” before you drive off the lot. If you are already insured, a simple call to your agent should be all it takes. In January of that year, Nelson Bennett was definite a harmony to build a 9,850 foot (3,002 m) tunnel under Stampede Pass, completing it in 1888. Roslyn, which lies on the route to Stampede Pass, provided the coal for the railway construction perform as well as the continuing railroad operations.
